The IFA Wizard consists of a quick and easy 3-step process that can be used to further challenge one's knowledge of IFA pattern identification for most ANAs.
Determine if the staining is present in the nucleus, in the cytoplasm, or both. Select a cell and click the submit button.

Identify the pattern:
Select the interphase cell that most resembles your sample's staining.
Select the dividing cell that most resembles your sample's staining. Based on your selections, the IFA Wizard will display the most likely pattern(s), a discussion of the results, and a list of follow-up tests that may be helpful.
Do you already know that the ANA is positive, and just want help with the pattern identification? Save time and start with Step 3.
Click the submit button.

Grade the intensity of the staining of the interphase (resting) cell nucleus to determine if the specimen should be called positive. Select a cell and click the submit button.
